I’m so excited for warm weather! Here at the factory people are starting to get antsy. It’s been cold and rainy so far this spring but we all feel like the warmer sunnier weather is right around the corner. If the sun peaks out from behind the clouds I feel the need to run out the door and soak up the sun. Unfortunately it disappears as fast as the clouds can move. This kind of weather makes it very hard to be creative, sure I have some good ideas for chocolate flavors or labels but it’s hard to act on them, it’s hard to pull myself a way from the window looking for the sun. This is why I think spring break should be mandatory for everyone, not just students.

            Last week was spring break for my husband and man was I jealous. He works so hard all the time he needed the break. You would be amazed by the change in his attitude over the week. It was a wonderful transformation, yet I was working and still stressed. I didn’t want to use my vacation because we couldn’t go anywhere fun but I found myself thinking, wow a week at home just catching up on my life that would be great! If it didn’t count as vacation I’d be set. Yet I keep going to work with the best attitude I can muster up and try to make the best of the rainy weather. The new flavors that are coming to mind are warm and light just like summer!
