"Hey - here's the chocolate lady." To many retail buyers, that's how I am known and I'm happy with that title. I get a kick out of every opportunity that comes up to share with clients, friends, and family about the high quality of our chocolate, updates on new flavors, or stories about new label ideas. My primary job is in the Creative Arts Department working on existing and custom labels. I've design quite a range of labels from BSU Broncos Orange Milk and Dark Chocolate to Alii Kula Lavender Farms Dark Lavender Chocolate. Each time I work on a new label, it becomes my baby and I'm not happy until it's perfect. I'm a bit fussy.

I've been the head Chocolatier of Dream Chocolate for a little over a year now and when people ask me what I do for a living I say "I'm a Chocolatier". This either confuses or excites people.
When people are confused it's because they don?t think that chocolatier is really a word. They look at me for a minute and when they realize that I'm not joking they ask if that?s like being a musketeer. I laugh and explain what I do and that?s just the title I was given when I was hired. This is usually the beginning of a long conversation about different titles for my position.
The people who get excited ask me right away how I stay so skinny working with chocolate all the time. Well the truth of the matter is when you're around chocolate over 40 hours a week it's really not that appealing. I taste every batch I flavor and that?s enough for me.
So yes chocolatier is a real word in the world of chocolate. This is how Wikipedia defines Chocolatier:
